Problems To Solve
Conventional Distillation Process
Solvent recovery during vegetable oil production (e.g., edible oil) is usually performed in aggressive non-polar organic solvents, for instance, hexane. High level of energy consumption & production cost of vegetable oils made by oil extraction methods.
Existing Membranes
The long-term continuous operation usually leads to gas permeability reduction due to ageing. The membrane needs to be very hydrophobic to show excellent hexane wettability.
Our Solution
GRAPHILTER will significantly reduce energy consumption by removing the distillation columns. GRAPHILTER has shown an organic flux around 7 to 10 grid power, which means a small-sized OSN unit can replace the large distillation plant. Over the conventional distillation process, GRAPHILTER will improve the oil quality by decreasing the temperature from boiling to room temperature, capital cost for oil production and saving more space.

He had worked as Assistant/Manager, Sole Proprietor and Owner. As Chief Commercial Officer of GRAPHILTER, Mr. Memon will leverage his skills and knowledge of running three successful businesses to oversee the development and commercial strategies of the Company and ensure its success within Canada.
